Almost a year after KaBOOM! founder Darell Hammond spoke at Florida State College at Jacksonville, children and residents of Sable Palms Apartments are going to have a new on-site playground. This is the direct result and culmination of the 2012-2013 FSCJ Author Series Learning Community, an annual project spearheaded by FSCJ Professor Heidi Marshall and implemented by FSCJ students, faculty and staff, with help from community members and organizations.
