Being Rayzor Ready means feeling confident, prepared, and ready to start strong. College is exciting, but it’s also a lot of new information. Orientation helps you learn how FSCJ works, meet your support team, and build your plan for your first semester.
High school. Dual enrollment. Any college classes you've taken. If you’ve done the work, we want to see it. Getting your transcripts in early helps advisors make sure you’re starting in the right classes from day one.
Your placement helps determine which math and English classes are the best fit for you. Once that’s set, advisors can help you build a plan that actually makes sense.
This is where everything starts to come together. Choose the orientation session that works for your schedule and save your seat.
Orientation is open to new students enrolled in bachelor’s and associate degree programs, as well as technical certificates.
You can bring up to two guests to Orientation, however, going solo can be a fantastic opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the experience, make new connections and embrace the adventure.
Absolutely! Orientation includes a dedicated workshop where you can enroll in classes, provided you meet the eligibility criteria. To ensure a smooth enrollment process, please make sure you have an active application, completed Florida Residency and valid placement on file.

Yes, you can attend Orientation at the location that's most convenient for you. It does not have to be the same location where you plan to attend classes.
