About

The Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts is a comprehensive performing and visual arts facility at Florida State College at Jacksonville's South Campus. The Center serves as a facility for students and a quality arts venue for the entire community. Housed in glass, a two story lobby leads patrons to the art gallery, a main proscenium theatre with 500 seats, the studio theatre designed for productions with smaller audiences and the Conference Center which is available for business meetings, conferences, fundraisers and social gatherings. The Center's programming includes a variety of offerings such as opera, dance, multidisciplinary productions that integrate visual art, music, theatre and the humanities.

Many productions at the Wilson Center are presented by the FSCJ Artist Series. Please visit their site for more information and ticketing.

This concert will feature songs of love, dreams, community...and yes, some of your favorite song selections from The Muppets! Under the direction of Dr. Tommy Shapard, the Vocal/Choral department will present the College Chorale, Manta Voces and the Musical Theatre Vocal Ensemble in concert.

Circo del Pantano

Sunday, October 25 at 4 p.m.

JDT returns with the second year of its electrifying modern dance circus, guided by the bold vision of Artistic Director Rebecca R. Levy and featuring FSCJ danceWORKS students and faculty. Building on the momentum of its debut, this expanded production continues to blend the raw physicality of contemporary dance with the daring spectacle of aerial performance. Audiences can expect an even more refined and immersive experience, filled with striking visuals, dynamic movement and moments of surreal theatricality. Part dreamscape, part high-flying thrill, JDT’s modern circus continues to push the boundaries of genre and form—bold, immersive, and impossible to look away from.

Dance Dialogue: Artist Talk with Jenn Logan

Tuesday, October 27 at 1 p.m.

Join us for a special edition of Dance Dialogue featuring aerial artist and performer Jenn Logan. This immersive event, held on the Wilson Center Main Stage, offers a behind-the-scenes look into the world of aerial arts through a live demonstration followed by an engaging conversation with the artist.

Jenn will share insights into her creative process, training, and the artistry behind aerial performance. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about the physical and expressive elements of aerial work, and explore the intersections of dance and circus arts.

Attendees will have the opportunity to get a closer look at the aerial apparatuses and experience some of the equipment firsthand under guided supervision. This interactive component offers a unique chance to better understand the skills, strength, and artistry involved in aerial performance.

This workshop is open to current FSCJ Students, Staff and Faculty.
