From the Florida Times-Union, Feb. 10, 2014 Editorial/Opinion Page, A-10:
Florida State College at Jacksonville’s TRACK program does ground-breaking work helping wounded veterans get on educational and vocational paths and, equally important, stay on them. And the school recently gave many of those Wounded Warriors some assistance for their other needs as well.
FSCJ recently hosted a Wounded Warrior Day at its North campus: The event provided free dental services to 20 TRACK students as well as a catered lunch and other amenities. The dental work was done by FSCJ dental-hygiene students, providing them with valuable experience as well.
Cheers to FSCJ for holding this successful event!
