The theme for this academic year at FSCJ is “engagement.” The School of Health Sciences along with Executive Chair Dr. Sandy Robinson exemplified this theme at the St. Vincent’s Medical Mission at Home event on Saturday, March 5.

We take pride in the hard work and achievements of our students at FSCJ. Our sign language interpreters would like to highlight one individual who went above and beyond to excel in all of his classes.

The College’s Information Technology Rapid Reemployment (I-Tech) program targets occupations that local companies have expressed as areas of need in the Computer Information Technology (CIT) industry in Jacksonville and across the region.

The Administrative & Professional Collaborative (APC) is the representative voice for the Administrative & Professional employees of FSCJ.

A big congratulations to the students enrolled in our Cosmetology workforce certificate program for their success in the first annual Student Avant-Garde Hair Show.

Accredited since 2010, the occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program at FSCJ has established an outstanding history of successful students and graduates.

The criminal justice technology degree program hosted a guest panel event for one of its Introduction to Criminal Justice classes on Wednesday, March 16.

Our community’s rapidly growing aging population requires highly specialized, multidisciplinary care.

Volunteers and students from North Campus helped nearly 3,000 dental patients in need of care at the Florida Mission of Mercy (MOM) event, held from April 22-23, 2016.

We’d like to congratulate Vice President of Student Services Dr. Chris Holland, who was recently honored by Jamestown Community College (JCC) with the 2016 Distinguished Alumnus Award.

Jim Marlier was recently recognized as FSCJ’s first Distinguished Alumnus for his esteemed accomplishments and exceptional contributions to his profession and our community, as well as his outstanding support of FSCJ.

Our 2016 Dental Hygiene graduates achieved outstanding results on the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE), earning a 100 percent pass rate and scoring in the 90th percentile in the nation!
