We would like to commend a few of our athletic teams for their recent involvement with some of our local community partners. We are proud of their efforts and dedication to support those in our community in need.

Some of the FSCJ BlueWave baseball players took part in the 2015 First Coast Heart Walk, the largest Heart Walk event in Jacksonville’s history. During the event, more than $1.2 million was raised through the American Heart Association to help defeat heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases. Check out the WJXT Channel 4 video of our players.

Also recently, our BlueWave women’s volleyball players visited Wolfson Children’s Hospital to bring gifts and books to the children staying at the hospital. The players were able to sit down with the patients and share some positive words and energy with the young teens and children.
