The Administrative & Professional Collaborative (APC) is the representative voice for the Administrative & Professional employees of FSCJ.
In an effort to build cohesiveness, awareness and collegiality, each month we put a “spotlight” on one of our members.
November’s Administrative and Professional Collaborative (APC) spotlight shines on Cameron Fansher, director of administrative services at Open Campus/Deerwood Center.
Cameron recently joined FSCJ and brings with him more than 15 years of experience in multi-facility operations management, strategic planning, customer service delivery and process improvement.
After attaining his degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Florida, Cameron worked at Baptist Medical Center and most recently Nemours Children’s Clinic here in Jacksonville. He recognizes many similarities between his work in healthcare and his new position with FSCJ.
“It’s all about delivering services, information and support to people when they want and need it most,” said Fansher. “It could be an ill or injured family member in the hospital environment, or providing students with access to the resources they need to attain their dreams and aspirations at FSCJ.”
Cameron lives in Julington Creek with his amazing wife and two daughters who keep him busy with their soccer, volleyball and basketball schedules. He also enjoys cheering on his favorite football teams, (Bulldogs and Jaguars), playing golf when time permits and brewing his own beer. Cheers.
Our spotlight shines on each campus/center at least once a year. Nominations for the spotlight may be directed to your campus representative or any officer.
