Buying Books
Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) has partnered with the Bibliu to make buying and renting your books easy. Students can order books online through myFSCJ, visit shopfscj.com or shop in person at a campus bookstore.
Buy Books Online (myFSCJ)
Once you have registered for your courses, you can order books online through the “Manage Classes and Books” tile in the Student Center in myFSCJ. Your schedule will be analyzed and a list of the required and recommended textbooks will appear for you to purchase. You may pay with credit, debit, or use your bookstore authorization.
Book Authorization
The College will allow eligible students to use a portion of their anticipated financial aid for books. Book authorizations are not additional funds offered to students. The amount is based on the financial aid award amount (PELL, Direct Loan, scholarships) for which the student is eligible, if enrollment and other criteria are followed. Book authorizations are provided to the College bookstores two weeks before the term begins and are available until approximately two weeks after the start of the term. Book authorization dates are published each term in the class schedule.
Book authorizations amounts are calculated at $60 per credit hour for a maximum of $720 per term. If you do not use the full $60 per credit hour you will receive a refund for any remaining amount once financial aid is disbursed. Students may view their book authorization in the Student Center of myFSCJ by selecting the “Financial Aid" tile.
Bookstore authorizations are available for all eligible students during the dates listed on this page.
Summer 2026
April 20 – June 8, 2026 For A, B, & C-Sessions
*If you are in C Session only AND are awarded financial aid within 2 weeks of the C Session classes starting, contact Student Financial Services to inquire if you can use a portion of your financial aid for books in advance of classes starting.

The bookstore will ask for your FSCJ Student ID to validate your eligibility for the authorization. Please enter the 7 digits of your ID number without the “s” at checkout. Your student ID number can be found in myFSCJ.
If you place an online order your charges will be sent to FSCJ to post on your student account. If you do not need your order you must contact the bookstore directly to cancel the order.
