Financial Aid Information for Upcoming Terms
FSCJ's Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is dedicated to providing accurate and timely awarding. We are excited to announce a more robust way for students to view, accept and decline awards. Our goal is to award prior to the payment deadline of each term for those students who have a complete financial aid file. If you have turned in your required documents for verification, those documents are being processed. Please be mindful that if additional documentation is needed, we will communicate that to you through your "To-Do List" in myFSCJ.
To apply for financial aid, you should visit www.fafsa.gov and complete the application. Once the application is processed, you will receive a summary of your information in your Student Aid Report (SAR). If you provided an email address, your SAR will be sent by email within three to five days. If no email address is provided, the SAR will be mailed to you within three weeks. When you receive your SAR, your should begin checking myFSCJ for communications from FSCJ's financial aid office. For specific questions, you can call (904) 646-2300/(877) 633-5950 or visit one of our campuses or centers' financial aid offices.
All checklist items must be in a “Complete” status prior to the published initial drop for nonpayment deadline in order for FSCJ to determine eligibility for coverage of tuition, fees and books. Those who do not meet the published initial drop deadline will be responsible for paying their educational expenses from their own resources until eligibility is established. Payments are due by 7 p.m. eastern standard time (EST) of the established payment deadline date. Failure to make your payment by 7 p.m. (EST) will result in classes being dropped from your schedule. Check your status online.

For A, B, & C Sessions
Students must be enrolled in all credits you plan to attend for the term by the published Census Date. Once your enrollment is locked, any additional classes added will not result in an increase in financial aid. For additional Census Date information please visit our FAQs page.
Financial aid is posted on student accounts and refunded after tuition, fees, and books have been deducted from your semester award and after attendance has been verified for 30 days in each of your classes. FSCJ will send the refund file to BMTX, Inc. and the refund will be issued to the student via their selected refund preference with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. After first pay, financial aid disbursements will be processed on a weekly basis as students are awarded. Please check your financial aid checklist in myFSCJ to verify your financial aid status.
