This course teaches you basic project management techniques, including managing time and cost. Students will identify the features and attributes of a project, the steps and variables of the project management process, the effects of environmental, socioeconomic and organizational structure issues and the responsibilities of a project manager.

Meet our Instructors
Gregory Grant is a Business Consultant with the Florida Small
Business Development Center (SBDC) at UNF and an Adjunct Instructor at
FSCJ. His expertise is in business management and operational
improvements. Gregory has diverse business experience ranging from
corporations to entrepreneurship. Over the past 25 years, Gregory has
managed retail locations, corporate operations, and owned several
businesses. Gregory has assisted several business owners using his
practical experience and educational knowledge. He has been referenced
or featured in media publications such as Huffington Post, Forbes,
MSNBC, EPN, BUZZ, and many others providing inspiration to business
owners. Gregory has also been active in the veteran community assisting
aspiring veteran business owners with resources to be successful. He has
participated as a panelist and currently serves on the Vetrepreneur
Committee in partnership with the City of Jacksonville and the Military
Department. He is an Advisory Board Member of the Jacksonville Veteran Chamber of Commerce.
