Our newly appointed Student Success Navigators have officially been released to campuses! These dedicated Student Affairs & Enrollment Management professionals provide comprehensive and personalized support to students across admissions, enrollment, financial aid and first-term advising. While Navigators assist new students with selecting and registering for their first term, they do not serve as assigned advisors. Academic and Career Advisors continue to manage academic advising for students through their assigned caseloads, providing ongoing support for students’ educational planning and success.
Before stepping into their new roles, Navigators completed an extensive, three-week training program, which included full-day sessions focused on learning new topics, engaging in hands-on activities and participating in team-building exercises. This comprehensive preparation ensures they are fully equipped to deliver a student-centered experience with a deep understanding of FSCJ’s processes, services and commitment to excellence.
This new model eliminates the need for students to move between multiple service queues. Navigators can now assist students seamlessly from application through financial aid to enrollment, creating a more streamlined and supportive experience. This approach ensures students can access comprehensive support efficiently, without unnecessary handoffs or delays.
Congratulations to our new Student Success Navigators:

We are also preparing to launch a new virtual queue management system designed to enhance the student experience, which will replace our current system. The new system will allow students to check in remotely, monitor real-time updates and receive notifications conveniently through their smartphones or computers. The official launch date will be announced soon.
