The Administrative & Professional Collaborative (APC) is the representative voice for the Administrative & Professional employees of FSCJ. In an effort to build cohesiveness, awareness and collegiality, each month we put a “spotlight” on one of our members.
Paula Marshall has rejoined FSCJ as the Dean of Nursing, a role she assumed in February. Prior to this appointment, she held various positions at FSCJ, including Associate Dean of Nursing and Interim Dean of Nursing. Most recently, she served as the Dean of Nursing at Fortis College in Orange Park.
Dean Marshall brings over twenty years of extensive experience in nursing, nursing education and leadership. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, both awarded by South University.
Dean Marshall possesses considerable expertise gained from teaching in both classroom and clinical settings before advancing into nursing leadership roles. She is committed to educating future nurses and providing effective leadership for faculty and staff.
In her position as Dean of Nursing at FSCJ, she will collaborate closely with nursing faculty to enhance the educational experience and support the ongoing development and growth of the nursing programs.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ms. Marshall enjoys spending time with her husband of 37 years, Jamie. She has a passion for reading, gardening, practicing yoga and engaging with her three cats and two ferrets. Additionally, she is a proud mother of three adult children and a grandmother to four grandchildren.
Our spotlight shines on each campus/center at least once a year. Nominations for the spotlight may be directed to your campus representative or any officer. Learn more about APC here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1024098564929654.
