The Administrative & Professional Collaborative (APC) is the representative voice for the Administrative & Professional employees of FSCJ.

In an effort to build cohesiveness, awareness and collegiality, each month we put a “spotlight” on one of our members. January's Administrative & Professional Collaborative (APC) spotlight shines on Aaron Holland, who started in November 2022 as the new Director of Admissions and Enrollment Services.

As part of the division of Student Services, he leads the areas of residency records processing and enrollment coaching. His teams are focused on creating a more efficient and seamless application and enrollment process for new and returning students. He is also a new member of the FSCJ Promise Program Advisory Committee.

Aaron has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Education in College Student Affairs from the University of South Florida (USF). In his over 17 years of experience in higher education, he has worked in a variety of areas including admissions, advising and records processing. His experience includes stops at Argosy University, Hillsborough Community College and his alma mater. Most recently, he worked as an Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at Pasco-Hernando State College in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Before that he ran the Office of Transfer Student Success at USF, leading the implementation of Fuse, a transfer articulation partnership with eight Florida College System institutions.

His philosophy is that for student success to become a consistent reality, it needs to be everyone’s responsibility. Communication, flexibility and planning are three key elements he cites of successful teams.

In his spare time, he is usually hanging with his wife Holly and two sons, Cade and Mason. He enjoys running and working out, discovering new music and attending sports events for his sons.

Our spotlight shines on each campus/center at least once a year. Nominations for the spotlight may be directed to your campus representative or any officer. Learn more about APC on our website, http://blogs.fscj.edu/apcollaborative.
