Students are Invited to Enter FSCJ Author Series Essay and Visual Art Contests

Jun 9, 2022, 12:49 PM

This year, the annual FSCJ Author Series will feature Author Josh Hanagarne and his book, “The World’s Strongest Librarian: A Book Lover’s Adventures,” which illuminates the mysteries of Tourette Syndrome as well as the very different worlds of strongman training and modern libraries.

We are pleased to also offer two student contests related to the book:

Students are invited to participate in an essay contest where they can describe one subject that gives them strength in challenging times. Cash prizes will be offered for first through third place winners. The submission deadline is February 20, 2018, by midnight.

There will also be a visual art contest where students can illustrate a passage from their favorite book, celebrate reading or convey overcoming challenges to find strength in life. Entries will be featured in FSCJ's art galleries through April. Cash prizes will be offered for first through third place winners. The submission deadline is February 28, 2018.
