Brabham, an FSCJ alumna, earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1989 after 10 years as an LPN. As a U.S. Navy veteran, her many professional accomplishments include a Letter of Commendation from the Navy for her service during Operation Desert Storm. She currently serves as president of the Florida League for Nursing for the term 2013-2015. She holds professional memberships to multiple nursing organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. Brabham is also currently enrolled in a Ph.D. Nursing program with a focus on nursing education.

Brabham joins two more FSCJ Nursing faculty members who hold the CNE: Professor of Practical Nursing Meg-Anne Lukawski, R.N., M.S.Ed., M.S.N., who now serves as the NLN Ambassador representing FSCJ; and Professor of Nursing, BSN program, Susan Schultz, D.N.P.

The National League for Nursing works to promote excellence in nursing to build a strong and diverse workforce to advance the nation’s health. The CNE credential held by faculty members reinforces with students and graduates that FSCJ is providing them with the best nursing instruction available.
