FSCJ will be closed for spring break from Monday, March 17 – Sunday, March 23, 2025. We look forward to serving you when we return on March 24.
Join us on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 to celebrate #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. FSCJ students, faculty and staff are encouraged to come together to help make a difference right here in our community.
View the video invitation from FSCJ Foundation Executive Director Cleve Warren here.
On this day of giving, students and employees will volunteer their time across Jacksonville. Volunteer locations include: Teacher Supply Depot, Salvation Army, Berry Good Farms, Celestial Farms, Beaches Habitat for Humanity.
Several volunteer time slots are still available! Learn more and sign up here. Supervisor pre-approval is required for employee volunteers and volunteer commitments are limited to two hours (8-10 a.m. or 10 a.m.-noon, Beaches Habitat for Humanity is limited to the 8-10 a.m. time slot only). Volunteers will receive a free #GivingTuesday t-shirt when they check-in to their site.
No time to volunteer? You can still show your support of the effort in several ways.
1) We are kicking off FSCJ's Annual Fund Drive which means your gift, no matter the size, can help make attending FSCJ an option for many students throughout our community. The Annual Fund will support student scholarships, elevate academic programming, provide professional development opportunities for faculty and ensure the latest educational technology is available in the classroom. Click here to make a gift.
2) You can also donate to FSCJ's H.O.P.E. Food Pantry which serves our very own students who are in need of food assistance to successfully pursue their academic and personal goals. To donate to the FSCJ H.O.P.E. Food Pantry, either bring your items by the pantry located at South Campus during our hours of operation or to the Student Life Office on any of our campuses and centers. Learn more about the H.O.P.E. Food Pantry and high need items here.
3) Donations are also being accepted to benefit the Duval County Public Schools' Teacher Supply Depot which aims to promote student achievement and enhance the teachers' ability to educate their students. School supplies of any kind are in urgent need. Ideas include: binders, calculators, all kinds of paper, scissors, crayons, children's books and more. More donation ideas can be found here. Donation bins will be located at the Student Life Offices on any of our campuses and centers.
