Giving Tuesday, Join FSCJ on November 28, 2017

Join us on November 28, 2017 for #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back when charities, families, businesses, communities and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to make a difference for causes they care about most.

FSCJ students, faculty and staff are encouraged to join us in a day of giving back to the community to demonstrate #FSCJCares. View the list of volunteer opportunities and sign up here.*

Can't participate in any of our off-site volunteer opportunities? There are still other ways you can give back:

1) We’re kicking off our Annual Fund Drive which will provide the funds necessary to give our students the highest quality educational experience possible. For some, the pursuit of a college education is not an option due to financial obstacles but, thanks to the generosity of people like you, that dream of a higher education can become a reality. FSCJ’s Annual Fund will support student scholarships, elevate academic programming, provide professional development opportunities for our educators and ensure the latest educational technology is available in the classroom. Click here to support the Annual Fund.

2) You can donate to FSCJ's H.O.P.E. Food Pantry which serves our very own students who are in need of food assistance to successfully pursue their academic and personal goals. To donate to the FSCJ H.O.P.E. Food Pantry, either bring your items by the pantry located at South Campus during our hours of operation or to the Student Life Office on any of our campuses and centers. Learn more.

3) Donations are also being accepted to benefit the Duval County Public Schools' Teacher Supply Depot which aims to promote student achievement and enhance the teachers' ability to educate their students. School supplies of any kind are in urgent need. To view the a list of items you may donate, click here. Donation bins will be located at the Student Life Offices on any of our campuses and centers

*Employees must receive supervisor preapproval to participate and are limited to two-hour volunteer commitments.
