Last fall he directed an innovative production of "Pinocchio" and last spring he conceived and directed the original musical revue of "A World Distanced," reflecting on how the pandemic continues to impact our society and our personal lives. He has directed most of the FSCJ DramaWorks productions over the years, among the

"Stalking Ottis Toole: A Southern Gothic," both written by Professor of
English Tim Gilmore, "The Taste of Sunrise," in collaboration with FSCJ's ASL/
English Interpreting programs, "James and the Giant Peach," and the musical
revue, "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris." In spring 2005, "The
Lady from Dubuque" was produced with the world-renowned playwright,
Edward Albee in attendance for his play, and introducing the opening
performance and meeting with the cast and crew.

Professional credits include productions with the Saruel French New Play Festival in NYC, Nebraska Rep., Arkansas Rep., and several productions at Memphis' Playhouse on the Square.

Professor McCulough has also served as a full-time faculty member at the University of
Memphis and the University of Nebraska. In 2006, he was a recipient of the
Outstanding Faculty Award at FSCJ, and he is an associate member of the
