The computerized, comprehensive exam is required for licensure in all 50 states. It assesses the ability of the student to understand important information from basic biomedical, dental and dental hygiene sciences, as well as the ability to apply such information in a problem-solving context. Our graduates continued to impress with a 91 percent success rate on the ADEX clinical licensing examination, also a requirement for state licensure.
The Dental Hygiene program is a limited access, 20-month program located at North Campus. The bulk of the students’ clinical education takes place in the Dental Hygiene Clinic, where patients from the community receive oral hygiene services from students under the supervision of licensed dentists and dental hygienists.
We’re immensely proud of the success our Dental Hygiene graduates have achieved, and we’re confident our program will continue to excel on a national level. Congratulations to our graduates!
