Providing a supportive, on-campus environment assisting Veteran-students to make a smooth transition to college life and to successfully complete their educational programs.
VetSuccess on Campus is a collaborative effort between Florida State College at Jacksonville and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with the purpose of providing a supportive, on-campus environment where Veteran-students may gather to obtain assistance and peer support. The goal of the program is to assist Veteran-students to make a smooth transition to college life and to successfully complete their educational programs. The VA has placed two full-time, experienced Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors at the Military and Veterans Service Center.
