Serving all FSCJ campuses and centers, Kevin and Nichole are responsible for leading the College’s prospective student and community engagement initiatives, which are rooted in a student-centered approach that student success begins at hello.

Shakura is housed at FSCJ’s North Campus, located in north Jacksonville. Shakura works with high schools and community partners on the Northside to connect students with high-demand programs.
Shakura is dedicated to creating supportive spaces where every student feels seen and encouraged to succeed. She's an FSCJ graduate who understands the challenges many new students face.
“I love working with students and giving them what I call the college “cheat sheet”—all the guidance, tips, and encouragement I wish someone had shared with me when I was in high school. Helping students navigate their next steps and feel confident in their future is truly the best part of my job.”
North Campus is the hub for health sciences career pathways like biomedical sciences, cardiovascular technology and dental programs, along with nursing, criminal justice, cosmetology, funeral services and Emergency Medical Services. The campus is also home to a state-of-the-art Medical Simulation Center.
Maiah is based on the Downtown Campus and serves students, schools and community organizations in proximity to Jacksonville’s Downtown and Southside regions.
Maiah, an FSCJ graduate who has an appreciation for music and yoga, is passionate about helping future Manta Rays discover opportunities, connect with resources and take meaningful steps toward achieving their goals.
“My educational journey looks a lot like the students I work with every day. I didn’t have a straight path, but I balanced school with work. I navigated FAFSA, deadlines, course planning, and moments of uncertainty about whether I was ‘doing it right’—the same things our students experience now.”
Downtown Campus is home to FSCJ’s career and technical programs such as automotive technology, construction, culinary arts, electrical, HVAC/R, logistics and welding. It also offers education, human services and general studies programs.
Bonnie is based at FSCJ’s South Campus, serving Jacksonville’s Southside and beaches communities. Bonnie helps prospective students in her area explore creative and technical programs while guiding them into relevant FSCJ academic and career pathways.
Bonnie is recognized for her enthusiasm in helping students uncover talents they never knew they had. Bonnie's enthusiasm extends to the kitchen as well, where she loves to spend time when not at work.
“My bachelor’s is in Sociology. I believe sociology gave me a perspective on collective behavior, which helps with presentations and with considering students’ cultural backgrounds—how that may affect them either positively or negatively.”
South Campus features the Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts, digital media labs and facilities for fine and performing arts. It also houses the Fire Academy of the South, the FSCJ Honors Program and one of the College’s two Military and Veterans Service Centers.
Davion is based at FSCJ’s Kent Campus, serving primarily the Westside of Jacksonville. Davion connects Westside high schools and public partners with dynamic opportunities, helping students understand the pathways available in their areas.
Davion, an FSCJ graduate, has a passion for helping students who didn’t think college was for them recognize their potential.
“My favorite podcast is the PIVOT, and my favorite book is The Autobiography of Malcolm X. I love how it shows the growth a man can make if given the opportunity.”
Kent Campus is home to programs in business, paralegal studies, art and interior design. It also houses one of the College’s two Military and Veterans Service Centers.
Amy operates out of our Nassau Center in Yulee and serves all of Nassau County. Amy partners with Nassau County high schools and organizations to ensure students have a local starting point for college and career training.
Amy, who graduated from FSCJ before transferring to another local university, believes in empowering students to find confidence in their choices and explore new opportunities.
“I listen to podcasts all the time. Some of my favorites include Designed4More, The Diary of a CEO, Designed to Heal, Chris Beat Cancer, Kwik Brain and Hidden Brain.”

Neil is stationed at the Nassau Center, focusing on high schools and community partners across Nassau County. He promotes FSCJ’s career and technical education pathways available through local learning connections and beyond, ensuring students understand how they can start locally and build toward FSCJ’s degree and certificate programs.
Neil, a former student-athlete at FSCJ, is dedicated to helping students understand how practical skills can lead to lifelong careers.
“Outside of work, I train basketball players. I love anything that lets me coach, teach or help people get a little better every day.”

Emily enjoys inspiring students to see how education can connect their passions with real-world opportunities. Having started college at another school, Emily's journey ultimately led her to earning a bachelor's degree at FSCJ.
