Adult Basic Education involves non-credit courses designed to develop literacy skills necessary for successful workers, citizens, and family members. Mathematics, language arts or reading courses prepare students for career or high school level programs. Students at the ninth-grade level may register for career and technical education courses or GED® high school equivalency courses.
