FSCJ Emergency Alert Notifications

Employees of FSCJ can visit fscj.edu/discover-fscj/public-safety-security/emergency-information/ to find important contact numbers and website links that will assist during times of need.

All employees are also encouraged to sign up for FSCJ’s Emergency Notification System. The Emergency Notification System enables the College to send urgent information to your cell phone and e-mail. Depending on your personal cell phone plan, there may be a nominal fee from your carrier to receive text messages, but there is no charge from the College for using this service.

To register, employees will need to log in to Artemis and select the “Employee” tab at the top of the page. Then scroll down and click on Emergency Notification System. Once you enter your phone number and cell phone carrier, a validation code will be sent via text message to your phone. You must enter this code on the Emergency Notification System web page to complete the registration process. The same steps apply for registering your email address. Once you submit your email address, a validation email will be sent to the address and you must open it and click on the validate button to complete the process.

If internet access is unavailable during an emergency, faculty and staff members can call the FSCJ employee hotline at (904) 642-7726 and students can call the student hotline at (904) 633-5908.
