As the student recruitment office approaches the home stretch of the recruitment year within the high school market, we are pleased to announce Bonnie Lucey has joined the team. After successful years as a dual enrollment coordinator, Bonnie returns to the familiar grounds of student recruitment, a role she played at FSCJ and other colleges.
Now, she will serve schools in Duval County, especially those near South Campus, and targeted community agencies. Her experience in dual enrollment allowed her to develop an additional skillset, making her a valuable resource for our team as we work with early access programs and opportunities.
When she’s not engaging students at Fletcher High School in Jacksonville Beach or participating in a virtual transition session for the Dual2Degree effort, Bonnie enjoys spending time with family and cooking. A New York Yankees fan with a background as a chef, Bonnie believes that successfully converting a curious prospective student to a committed FSCJ scholar requires the right ingredients of engagement, communication and encouragement.
