August 2024 Recruitment Update

Aug 15, 2024, 06:46 AM

Partnerships are an essential component of the Student Recruitment Office’s enrollment development strategy. Whether the affiliation is with an external agency or connection with a College department, recruiting students to the College can be a collaborative effort. Connections with educational and community partners are vital for establishing relationships with a broader range of individuals who may or may not be considering educational pursuits or job training at FSCJ.

In practice, these invaluable relationships might involve a student recruiter presenting at the Jacksonville Job Corps or leading a tour for students in Take Stock in Children. These partnerships enable community organizations to achieve their programmatic goals while the recruitment office pursues its strategic recruitment objectives. Ultimately, service-district residents are fully supported in initiating their pursuit of education and career goals.

In October, the Student Recruitment Office, in partnership with the Center for Civic Engagement, led by Dr. Jametoria Burton, will host the first of two annual community partner events. If you are a member of an organization you believe could benefit from a partnership with the Student Recruitment office, please don’t hesitate to contact us at fscjrecruitment@fscj.edu.
