Congratulations to our Respiratory Care Associate in Science (A.S.) students who recently competed in the annual student Sputum Bowl during the Florida Society for Respiratory Care’s Sunshine Seminar. The five-hour competition included more than 10 teams from colleges and universities throughout the state. Our students finished in third place, coming just short of the win after going into overtime in the final match before finals.

The Sputum Bowl is an annual event where respiratory therapy students and respiratory therapists join together in a Jeopardy/Brain Bowl-type competition, answering questions specific to respiratory and pulmonary medicine.
