The Administrative & Professional Collaborative (APC) is the representative voice for the Administrative & Professional employees of FSCJ.

In an effort to build cohesiveness, awareness and collegiality, each month we put a “spotlight” on one of our members. June's Administrative & Professional Collaborative (APC) spotlight shines on Assistant Director of Purchasing Amy Benigno. She provides Collegewide leadership through exemplary customer service and training. In her short time at FSCJ, she has created an internal training site for departments needing financial information and security training as well as updating the P-Card program to include a SharePoint site for all things P-Card related. This provides the various Collegewide departments with on-demand training for the most sought out questions. Additionally, Amy has served as secretary on the Counsel of Purchasing Professionals since 2018.

Amy holds a bachelor of science in Business Management and a master’s degree in Adult Education and Training from the University of Phoenix. She has worked in higher education for 25 years in the arena of student services and financials, veterans’ affairs, accounts payable, purchasing and training. Amy has served in several roles at FSCJ since 2015, including the Bursar’s department, Accounts Payable and now Purchasing and Central Services. Her true passion is training and mentoring. She whole heartedly believes you can change the community with empowerment through education, training and mentorship.

In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family and friends, making crafts, enjoying her back porch and creating happy memories.

Our spotlight shines on each campus/center at least once a year. Nominations for the spotlight may be directed to your campus representative or any officer. Learn more about APC on our website, http://blogs.fscj.edu/apcollaborative.
