FSCJ vocal students Isabella Altenbach, Melissa Caceras and Sarah Waters recently competed in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competition at the University of North Florida. This yearly chapter competition involves students from the University of Florida, University of North Florida, Jacksonville University and private voice studios throughout North Florida. 

Ms. Caceras received first place in the Second Year College Women Classical division as well as first place in the Second Year College Women Musical Theater Division. Melissa was also selected to perform two of her audition songs in the Honors Recital at UNF later that day. Ms. Altenbach received second place in the Second Year College Women Musical Theater category and also in the Classical Division. Ms. Waters received a third place certificate in the Second Year College Women Classical category.
