FSCJ students along with members of the community participated in the Multicultural Community Health and Wellness event on July 29, 2016.

Kings Trail Elementary School hosted the free health fair, which was presented by FSCJ, the Duval County Public Schools ESOL Department, Feeding Northeast Florida and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Approximately 400 people, including families, performers and volunteers, helped make the event a huge success. Attendees were treated to dental exams, massages from FSCJ students, health screenings, performances, raffle prizes and food from around the world. FSCJ’s ESOL and nursing students also volunteered at the event as well as some of our Student Success staff and Sstudent ambassadors, who provided cultural information tables and performed for attendees.
