Professors Faith Litvack and Nick Martino from our Paralegal Studies program, traveled to Washington D.C. during Spring Break with 13 exceptional FSCJ students as part of the Legal Studies Association (LSA) student organization.

On their first day in D.C., students had the opportunity to tour the National Mall and experience the vastness of our great national monuments and Smithsonian Museums.

During their second day on the trip, they toured the U.S. Supreme Court and observed Supreme Court oral arguments, in addition to visiting the African American Museum—the newest Smithsonian Museum and the only national museum devoted exclusively to the documentation of African American life, art, history and culture.

Day three of the trip included tours of the U.S. Capitol, the House/Senate Gallery, the Holocaust Museum, Library of Congress and Cherry Blossom Walk.

These students worked hard to earn their place on this trip. Due to their competitive work, they received a $2,500 scholarship from Student Life to assist with the costs of the trip.
