The FSCJ Recruitment & Admissions Office participated in a variety of events throughout the month of February and into early March. Inaugural FSCJ exclusive career fairs were held at West Nassau High School and Terry Parker High School with solid participation from many academic areas as well as a great turnout of students. The month of February closed out strong with the annual NE Florida Construction Career Days, a three-day event that features education and career opportunities to traditional students and adults alike in various career and vocational fields. In addition to regularly scheduled "Why FSCJ" presentations, FAFSA Labs and Career Fairs at various locations throughout our service area, Recruitment & Admissions was able to provide representation at the annual Jacksonville Science Festival at South Campus just prior to Spring Break.

Late March and April also bring with it many more outreach events, including the final New Student Orientation for the Spring Term on March 22 at the URC; Yulee High School field trip to South Campus on March 28; Spring into Success on Saturday, April 6 at the ATC, a financial aid and career planning event in partnership with Duval County Public Schools, UNF SOAR, Jax Chamber, YEAR UP, and other community partners; Enrollment Assistance Days; and a final FSCJ exclusive Career and Workforce Fair Day on April 12 at Wolfson High School. With the school year sprinting towards the finish line, many celebratory events are being scheduled for April and May, such as College Signing Days throughout Duval and Nassau counties.
