Four members of FSCJ's Chapter of Mu Alpha Theta, the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society, participated in the 2019 National Convention.

Led by Professor of Mathematics and Faculty Advisor Sharon Sweet, students Brandy Kuhnhenn (Chapter President), Lindsey Alexander, Brittany Purscell and Michael Woolridge represented the College well and placed ninth overall in the poster competition.
