FSCJ will be closed for spring break from Monday, March 17 – Sunday, March 23, 2025. We look forward to serving you when we return on March 24.
More than 50 representatives from FSCJ and Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) came together on June 7 to discuss district priorities for the upcoming academic year, as well as opportunities for continued partnerships.
Principals, assistant principals, district staff and head guidance counselors were in attendance and heard presentations from various areas of FSCJ including recruitment, student engagement, adult education and financial aid. Roundtable discussions gave both organizations an opportunity to share feedback as well as an opportunity to present ideas on strengthening the pathways from high school to college.
“We are grateful for this grant and our partners who allow us to further our workforce development initiatives in these key areas of opportunity,” said FSCJ Interim President Kevin E. Hyde. “Many thanks to Governor Scott, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and Enterprise Florida for entrusting us with this award to build more students’ learning and employment opportunities and come closer to closing the talent gap in the manufacturing and logistics industries.”
