On November 4, FSCJ's Culinary Arts and Hospitality Program hosted the Fresh from Florida Student Chef Cook-Off event. Twelve student chefs faced off to prepare an original recipe using fresh Florida products that also meets the National School Lunch Program nutrition standards.
FSCJ Alumni William (Bill) Castleberry served as one of the judges, along with American Culinary Federation Tampa Bay Chapter President Rene Marquis and Duval County Public Schools Food Service Coordinator Valerie Bius.
