Dr. Monica Franklin, Professor Glenda Miller, Dr. Jeff Smith and a recent FSCJ dental hygiene graduate attended the grand opening ceremony of the new Healing Hands Dental Clinic last month.

Healing Hands Dental Clinic is the only free dental clinic for nearly 200,000 qualified, low-income adults in Duval County.

The ceremony was led by First Coast News anchor Jeannie Blaylock. During the ceremony Ms. Blaylock recognized FSCJ’s dental programs and praised FSCJ for our assistance in helping to raise funds for the clinic.

In addition, “FSCJ Dental” is honored on a plaque hanging in the facility for the contributions made during construction.

It is a great honor to be a part of the continuous improvement of our community.
