Congratulations to Student Success Advisor Hellitz Rivera for winning the Florida College System Student Government Association (FCSSGA) District IV Advisor Award.

She was honored at the 2015-16 FCSSGA End of the Year Conference, which took place from April 8-9, at St. Petersburg College, Gibbs Campus.

Nearly 300 people attended this year’s conference. Downtown Campus SGA President Nadia Esha nominated Hellitz for this honor and accepted the award on her behalf.

Florida College System representation stretches from Pensacola to the Florida Keys, with nine colleges in District IV. The FCSSGA District IV Advisor Award is given to one advisor who has provided distinguished service to their campus Student Government Association. The winning nominee provides support, teamwork, opportunities and leadership to their students.
