More than seventy participants from FSCJ and area colleges and high schools delved into local environmental issues at the 2019 Root 2 STEM Science Symposium. Various speakers, demonstrators and vendors examined environmental issues and discussed the pedagogical methods to study these issues.

The symposium ended with a lunch discussion on the possibilities of collaboration to approach these issues.
