After three Vision Education and Rehabilitation Center (VERC) students expressed interest in becoming engineers, Vision Rehabilitation Case Manager and Care Specialist Cheryl Undheim, with the help of her husband who is a waterfront operations manager at Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC), created a two-week STEM internship to immerse the students in real-world learning.
