Business Baccalaureate Programs Receive ACBSP Accreditation

The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Board of Commissioners approved FSCJ's four business baccalaureate programs for accreditation. In fact, FSCJ was the only state college in Florida to have all of its business baccalaureate programs accredited.

FSCJ's business baccalaureate programs are:

The accreditation focuses on recognizing teaching excellence, determining student learning outcomes, and a continuous improvement model. ACBSP’s student-centered teaching and learning approach, which is measured and analyzed for quality, ensures that students gain the right skills from their educational investment.  Institutions with programs accredited by ACBSP are committed to continuous improvement that ensures their business program will give students the skills employers want. 

Dean of Business Annette Barrineau said, "This has been a long and challenging task for the business team. We have collected and analyzed data for three years prior to completing our self study. It truly was a team effort, and one that we are proud of."
