FSCJ student, Isabella Altenbach, joined three other students - each representing the University of North Florida, Edward Waters College and Jacksonville University at City Hall on November 18 to receive the Michael Jackson Music Scholarship.

In 1984, Michael Jackson performed in Jacksonville and gifted the City of Jacksonville $100,000 to set up a trust for music scholarships which the Kids Hope Alliance now oversees. Each student recipient performed a selected piece at the event.

Isabella is a vocalist and plans to study music education at UNF after earning her Associate in Arts from FSCJ. Click here to read more about the event and the other recipients.
