Academic Degree Plan

What is an Academic Degree Plan?

The Academic Degree Plan (ADP) is a contract that lists all of the classes you need to complete your degree when submitting a SAP appeal.

You must have a confirmed Program of Study

The class order is flexible, but the classes listed on the plan are not.

  • You cannot skip any semester listed on the plan.
  • You must finish all of the classes listed on the plan by the end of the Anticipated Graduation Term/Year.
  • All the classes on the ADP must be inside your program of study for your current degree.
  • No additional transfer prerequisites can be listed on the ADP if they are flagged as “outside of your Program of Study”.

The Academic and Career Advisor needs to sign the ADP.

The picture below is an example of what the Academic Degree Plan looks like.
