About A.A. Roadmaps
Academic roadmaps can be helpful when selecting classes. They are intended to provide general guidance about recommended classes and mile markers to complete your A.A.
For the 2021-22 academic year, both full- and part-time A.A. degree-seeking students should refer to the A.A. Roadmaps for course-taking guidance. Part-time students are advised to complete courses according to the order in which they are listed. Recommended course sequencing lists for part-time students will be available in the 2022-23 academic year.
Prior to the award of an associate in arts degree, students initially entering a Florida College System institution in the 2021-22 academic year, and thereafter, must demonstrate competency in civic literacy by successfully completing one of two civic literacy courses with a “C” or higher AND by achieving the standard score on one of four approved assessments before graduation (
section 1007.25(4), Florida Statutes, and
Rule 6A-10.02413, Florida Administrative Code).
