Students pursuing the degree must complete 120 credit hours, of which 64 hours are lower division courses and 44 hours of upper division courses in the Converged Communications core and an additional 12 hours in one of two concentration areas: Strategic Corporate Communications or Production Media.
The Converged Communications curriculum is challenging, stimulating and, most of all, interactive. All courses in the program provide an emphasis on critical thinking and a broad liberal arts education so students will understand the theories, design, legalities and applications of media communication in society.
Students are encouraged to speak with an academic advisor when selecting courses. For students applying for Fall Term 2016 or later, a degree plan of study is available that details course requirements and course scheduling. Program worksheets are also available for students to use to track their progression through the degree program.
