When FSCJ Professor Patrick Miko first had the idea for Blocktoberfest, he had no idea it would become an event that students and artists would look forward to - and expect - every year.
Now in its eighth consecutive year, Blocktoberfest has grown substantially since its inception. Each year it brings together art and design students from FSCJ and UNF in a three-day printmaking extravaganza.
The students produced around 40 large-scale block prints and, with the help of a steamroller, were able to complete their oversized works of art.
