Please note: The ending times noted above are when offices close for the day. To allow yourself the time necessary to complete your assessment, you should consider your exam length and add 15 minutes to that time. For example, if your examination can be completed in 2 hours, plan for it to take you 2 hours and 15 minutes and arrive at your testing center no less than 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to the posted closing time.
The Downtown Campus assessment and certification center is located at 101 W. State St. in downtown Jacksonville, Florida ( directions to Downtown Campus). It is located on the first floor of the main building in Room A-1021. For information on this center, please call (904) 633-8321 or email.
The Kent Campus assessment and certification center is located at 3939 Roosevelt Blvd. in the west side of Jacksonville, Florida ( directions to Kent Campus). It is located on the first floor of Building A, Room A-102. For information on this center, please call (904) 381-3754 or email.
The North Campus assessment and certification center is located at 4501 Capper Road in the north side of Jacksonville, Florida ( directions to North Campus). It is located on the second floor of Building E, Room E-223. For information on this center, please call (904) 713-6014 or email.

The Deerwood Center assessment services are located at 9911 Old Baymeadows Road in the Southside of Jacksonville, Florida 32256 ( directions to Deerwood Center). Online testing appointments can be scheduled directly through your Canvas course shell. Locate the Tools link on the left hand side of the toolbar of your online course homepage. Under the Tools tab, scroll down and select the SmarterProctoring tab to register for Proctored Testing. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the FSCJ Assessment and Certification Centers have made a series of changes that may impact the way you take your exam. Assessment Centers now offer remote testing options for select exams in addition to campus-based testing for exams that cannot be offered in a remote format.
Distance Learning Proctored Testing for local online exams are offered mainly through SmarterProctoring Automated Services or ProctorU Review+. There are some limited proctored services offered by FSCJ proctors for those exams that are not compatible with Automated Services through SmarterProctoring. Assessments are offered at the Deerwood Center by appointment are: Pearson VUE IT Certification Exams, Kryterion Exams, CASAS, CPT, PERT, Accuplacer Next Generation Accuplacer ESL, Toledo Chemistry exam, TABE, along with credit by exams, such as CLEP and DSST (DANTES). The Cecil Center assessment services are located at 5640 POW-MIA Memorial Parkway in the west side of Jacksonville, Florida 32221 (directions to Cecil Center) in the Cecil Commerce Center. NAS Jacksonville assessment services is located on Yorktown Avenue in Jacksonville, Florida 32212 in Building 110, Room 16.
