Communication and Media (B.S.)

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communication and Media degree provides students with the culturally diverse foundation needed to build a successful career through advancement in the workplace or to further their education at the graduate level. The program focuses on a converged communications core comprised of persuasive writing, creative communications, public relations, marketing, new media, e-commerce and digital media. This degree is perfect for students who are interested in a communications major but cannot decide between a public relations degree, marketing degree or digital media degree because it encompasses all three.

Designed to provide a strategic combination of communication technologies to develop skills in writing, new media, marketing, e-commerce and digital media, this program prepares students for communication jobs in editing, technical writing, radio and television technology, public relations, marketing, advertising and corporate communications.
