College Goal Performance Indicators

College Goal Measurement (Performance Indicators) to Monitor Accomplishment of the College Mission Prior to August 2014

As a result of the recently established Florida State Board of Education Strategic Plan for the Public School System and the Florida College System in October 2012, the College identified College Goal Performance Indicators (PI) (PDF) that integrate with the new State Board of Education's Strategic Plan. The College President and Cabinet also identified additional performance indicators that may not be represented in the State Board's Strategic Plan yet have importance to the College.

Each performance indicator (PDF) supports the institution's mission by demonstrating a clear association with a collegewide goal. The target for each indicator, in the context of the College mission and goals, was set by the College President and Cabinet. The associate vice president for Collegewide Data Reporting and associate vice president for Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation facilitate the institutional effort to define, track, and report this information to the College President and Cabinet. Periodic review of the level of performance for each PI assists the College President and Cabinet in setting and revising major priorities, making budgetary and other resource allocation decisions, and engaging in other activities that support continuous improvement in institutional quality.

The College Goal Performance Indicator Report (PDF; edited August 2013) provides detailed information and multiple cycles of data for the performance indicators. For each collegewide goal, the report includes, if applicable:

• FSCJ Benchmark (if the state does not provide a benchmark)

Collegewide Goal Performance Indicator — Annual Review Cycle

The President's Cabinet will review updated Performance Indicator data on a periodic basis throughout the year in order to remain informed of the most current data for decision-making purposes. The Performance Indicator data can be used to inform resource allocation (physical, fiscal and human), assist in the evaluation of existing Major Priorities, and foster the development of new Major Priorities. The timing of this annual review cycle can inform the budgeting process for the next fiscal year.
