The Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts is a comprehensive performing and visual arts facility at Florida State College at Jacksonville's South Campus. The Center serves as a facility for students and a quality arts venue for the entire community. Housed in glass, a two story lobby leads patrons to the art gallery, a main proscenium theatre with 500 seats, the studio theatre designed for productions with smaller audiences and the Conference Center which is available for business meetings, conferences, fundraisers and social gatherings. The Center's programming includes a variety of offerings such as opera, dance, multidisciplinary productions that integrate visual art, music, theatre and the humanities.

This concert will feature songs of love, dreams, community...and yes, some of your favorite song selections from The Muppets! Under the direction of Dr. Tommy Shapard, the Vocal/Choral department will present the College Chorale, Manta Voces and the Musical Theatre Vocal Ensemble in concert.

Floriana: Songs of Florida Composers in Concert
Friday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m.
FSCJ artists and teachers Kimberly Beasley, Kevin Clasen-LeBlanc, and Edith Moore Hubert continue the theme of Florida connections with a program featuring songs by Frederick Delius, whose time in Jacksonville was pivotal to his musical career, Jacksonville-based composer Bob Moore, whose catalog includes several hundred published works, Miami-based composer and Columbia Pictures arranger Robert Schultz and Daniel Fulmer, composer and instructor at FSCJ for over 20 years.

JDT returns with the second year of its electrifying modern dance circus, guided by the bold vision of Artistic Director Rebecca R. Levy and featuring FSCJ danceWORKS students and faculty. Building on the momentum of its debut, this expanded production continues to blend the raw physicality of contemporary dance with the daring spectacle of aerial performance. Audiences can expect an even more refined and immersive experience, filled with striking visuals, dynamic movement and moments of surreal theatricality. Part dreamscape, part high-flying thrill, JDT’s modern circus continues to push the boundaries of genre and form—bold, immersive, and impossible to look away from.
