All classes and activities on FSCJ campuses and centers are cancelled Wednesday, October 9-Friday, October 11 due to Hurricane Milton. This includes online classes and administrative offices.
Independence - The Ombudsman’s Office is independent in structure, function and appearance to the highest degree possible within the organization.
Neutrality - The Ombudsman’s Office is a designated neutral party – unaligned and impartial. The Ombudsman does not engage in any situation which could create a conflict of interest.
Confidentiality - The Ombudsman’s Office holds communications with those seeking assistance in strict confidence and does not disclose confidential information unless given permission to do so. The only exception to this privilege of confidentiality is where there appears to be imminent risk of serious harm or in cases involving sexual harassment or assault.
Informality - The Ombudsman’s Office, as an informal resource, does not participate in any formal conduct or administrative procedure related to concerns brought to his/her attention.
