In March, the leadership of Florida Community College at Jacksonville unveiled the 43-year-old school’s new name. With an enthusiastic and unanimous vote of its District Board of Trustees in front of a packed conference room at the College’s Cecil Center, Florida State College at Jacksonville was born.the College remain the same.
